Founder's Day 2008

You're invited to join alumni, members and guests as we celebrate the 36th anniversary of our founding at ULM. The big weekend is April 25-26, 2008. From crawfish, to golf, to a dinner and dance at the Monroe Civic Center, we'll be celebrating in style in April. For more information contact Tommy Walpole.

Dr. Joe Pujol, Ed.D., FACSM (Eta Omicron '81); I did not ever plan to go to NLU, in fact I hardly even knew it existed until one of my older brothers enrolled there. I remember when he came back home the first time wearing his ΠΚΑ shirt. After taking some ribbing from one of my other brothers he spoke about the fraternity and the quality of people in the group and, of course, the fun they had. Having been in high school when Animal House came out I had a picture in my mind about fraternities and this began to sound like a lot of fun.

During my senior year of high school I made a trip to Monroe to learn more about the school. In the meantime I was able to meet the guys in the fraternity. They were as advertised, a close knit group of men who were fun to be around and also knew how to enjoy themselves. (more)

THE TRUE PIKE LIFESTYLE

As a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, I have pledged myself to uphold the values taught in our Ritual and restated in our Vision, Mission, and Creed. The True Pike is committed to a life of caring for others as he cares for himself. In pursuit of that ideal, I reaffirm my pledge...

...To Myself ...To My Brothers ...To My Fraternity ...To My Community Only by so doing, can I fulfill my commitment to Pi Kappa Alpha and be worthy to count myself a True Pike.
